Burlington, WA — Chad Fisher Construction (CFC) has officially broken ground on a new seafood processing and cold storage facility for Pacific Dream Seafoods in Burlington, Washington. The project, a design-build collaboration between CFC and Pacific Dream Seafoods, is expected to be complete by mid year of 2027.
The new facility spans approximately 61,000 square feet and is designed to significantly expand Pacific Dream Seafoods’ production capacity and cold storage capabilities. The building will house a full seafood processing area, cold storage rooms, blast freezers, an ice room, office space, and a covered loading dock for shipping and receiving.
CFC’s civil team has already broken ground on the six-acre lot, with approved civil plans in hand. The structure will be steel framed with insulated metal panel exterior walls and a rigid insulation roof supported by bar joists and metal decking — construction methods well-suited for a facility of this scale and function.
“We are proud to partner with Pacific Dream Seafoods on this important project,” said Duke Fisher of Chad Fisher Construction. “This facility represents a significant investment in the growth of Pacific Dream Seafoods and the Burlington community, and we are committed to delivering a world-class facility.”
The project team includes: Owner — Pacific Dream Seafoods; General Contractor — Chad Fisher Construction; Architect — Underwood & Associates, LLC; Civil Engineer — Ravnik and Associates, Inc.; Surveyor — Lisser and Associates, PLLC; Mechanical — Nordic Temperature Control; Electrical — Primac Electric.
