Project Description

Island Grown Farmers Cooperative (IGFC) was created to preserve the rich farming heritage of the San Juan Islands and provide essential local butchering services.

Chad Fisher Construction previously built their existing 6,000 sq. ft. PEMB which provided IGFC with office spaces, restrooms, breakrooms, hanging cooler, processing area, wash stations and packaging area.

This building expansion provided an additional 3,450 sq. ft. that consisted of an additional cooler, processing area, wash stations, and unheated livestock area. Totaling 9,450 sq.ft. of enhanced production efficiency and workflow, prioritizing health and safety standards, and increasing temperature-sensitive environments.

The agricultural and food processing facilities we build are durable and designed for long-term functionality, providing our clients with reliable spaces that support both current operations and future growth.

This project was completed on time and under budget.
