Project Description

Chad Fisher Construction was contracted to construct a new addition to the Camp Orkila facility that consisted of (8) shower stalls, (6) restroom stalls, an ADA shower stall, an ADA restroom stall, as well as a laundry room containing (4) washing machines, (8) dryers, and a large commercial washer and dryer. The units are supported with on-demand water heaters, full mechanical system, hot & cold water supply with recirculating hot water loop. The interior restrooms are finished with ceramic tile floor & walls with FRP ceiling. The laundry room is finished with FRP on all walls and a textured/painted ceiling.

This new building is a wood framed structure, built on a slab on grade with hydronic in slab floor for heating system. Exterior finishes include wood shingles with metal roofing intended to match the existing structure and surrounding facilities. The electrical system for the new building is fed from a new service which has provisions for a future electric vehicle charging station and back-up generator.

This Camp Orkila project was delivered on time and under budget.
