Project Description

Chad Fisher has provided construction services for Sakata Seed (formerly Alf Christianson Seed) for over 30 years as their prime contractor for their facilities in Skagit County and in Eastern Washington.

When a decision was made to relocate their Northwest operations base, they once again contacted Chad Fisher to provide management and construction services for their new seed storage/dryer facilities and corporate office building. The 14,000-sq-ft office building includes space for management, sales and operations and a state-of-the-art seed certification laboratory with climate controlled germination rooms.

The project was a completed under a design-build arrangement and was completed under budget and ahead of schedule.

What was especially a relief was that we never felt a lag in your scheduling of work and wondering where anyone was. We always felt a momentum, and you always communicated to us on the progress, so we never had to worry.
Jeanne Crannell, General Manager Alf Christianson Seed Company
