With over 40 years of experience in the Pacific Northwest area, we have been the team behind many successful agricultural construction projects. To give you a better idea of how we have served the industry, below are just some of the ones we have worked on over the years. In each case, our team worked meticulously with the respective client from start to finish to get an understanding of their needs and requirements.
Inventure Foods, a specialty foods manufacturer, needed to move their fresh fruit processing facility from Lynden, Wash., to Bellingham, Wash. Chad Fisher Construction was put in charge of converting and undertaking tenant improvements on the new processing facility.
This 23,000 square foot space was transformed into a new facility that meets all necessary industry and safety standards. The construction team at CFC added a new fire suppression system, prepared space for three production lines, and remodeled the 5,000 square feet of space used for offices. We also upgraded the loading dock with new dock levelers and door seals.
Construction on this project was completed on time during a scheduled 3-4 week downtime period. This included installation of a new insulated metal panel ceiling, epoxy coated floors and walls, and a fiber-grated trench drain.
Throughout the Inventure Foods project, we were able to:
Northwest Mills & Specialty Grains, a small-batch specialty flour producer, used CFC to update and prepare their production facility. The building’s shell was in poor condition and required some serious renovations. Overall the project focus was not only to improve the integrity of the shell but also to increase its resilience against the outside environment.
This commercial construction job involved removing and replacing the metal roofing, siding, and insulation of the entire building. Included in this were the replacement of overhead doors, man doors, windows, and the heating system.
Areas of the concrete foundation also required some work in order to accommodate the powerful milling equipment. This included a complete electrical retrofit, as well as installing all-new infrastructure required for the milling equipment.
Throughout this job, the team at CFC also completed the remodeling of the interior offices. This included new finishes, fixtures, and lighting.
During the course of this project, we managed to:
This organic and sustainable farming company required the construction of a brand new facility to expand their production capabilities. The project included constructing a new warehouse and production facility located on 30 acres of land in south Mount Vernon.
This massive new building includes a 45,000 square foot production facility (fully enclosed and air-conditioned), as well as a 10,000 square foot open-air production area. Restrooms, office, and conference space were also included in this project. Another notable feature of this build is the 99-kilowatt rooftop solar system – which was the second largest of its kind in Washington state at the time it went up.
Overall, it was a large-scale construction project that needed to meet the organic farm certification standards that Bay Baby Produce hold. Throughout construction, the team at CFC managed to:
