After completing phase one in 2013, Chad Fisher Construction broke ground on phase two of an expansion for Hexel Corp.’s Burlington, Wash., location in August of 2014. The additional space includes an 81,000 sq. ft. warehouse used to house a large autoclave, a 9,000 sq. ft. ISO Level 8 Clean Room and a 2,200 sq. ft. freezer for material storage. The facility also accommodates new offices, an employee break room and a climate-controlled IT room.
The project was constructed in under a year and met the customer’s requirements to be completed before their open house in August of 2015.
